Carlos De la Fuente - Chief Legal Officer

Carlos De la Fuente is a Legal Counsel with more than 15 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, M&A and private equity transactions. He has advised both domestic and international companies across sectors such as hospitality, healthcare, renewable energy, investment banking and insurance.

Carlos is currently Legal Counsel at Alcral AG (Switzerland), where he provides legal support on corporate and contractual matters, regulatory issues, and restructuring processes for the group and its subsidiaries. He also works with J.C. Marlin Capital (Spain), advising on NPL acquisitions, asset deals and strategic transactions. Previously, he spent over a decade at Lener Asesores Legales y Económicos (Madrid) as Senior Associate in the Corporate and M&A department, managing complex cross-border operations and leading a team of junior lawyers. His track record includes advising financial institutions, investment funds and corporates on high-profile acquisitions, restructurings and compliance programs.

Carlos holds a Law degree from the University of León, a Master in International Business Law from IEB–ISDE, and a Master in Legal Advice for Companies from ESIC. He has also completed an expert course in M&A at ISDE. Fluent in Spanish, Galician and English, with working knowledge of French, he combines strong legal expertise with international experience.
