Jonathan H. Holley, CIRA - Advisory Board

Jonathan Holley is a Member of the Advisory Board of J.C. Marlin and has over 30 years of transborder Investment Banking, Turnaround and Restructuring experience in the EMEA, ASEAN and Americas regions. Mr. Holley has served in various Chief Executive and Chief Investment Officer roles within the regulated financial services and private equity industries, notably leading  Bank AlKhair (BSC) (c), one of the largest and highest profile Islamic banks in the Middle East, through its global restructuring and restoration to profitability, and guiding FINCA Impact Finance, the 18-country microfinance banking network, through its post-Covid crisis debt restructurings, distressed M&A transactions and global creditor group management. A tenured M&A transaction practitioner with over 60 transactions valued at €18+ billion, Mr. Holley actively advises family offices and investment funds on investing in and managing risks of special situations. He has previously held senior positions with Dubai Group, VenGrow AG (Zurich), a Founder of Internet Capital Group Commerce, Ernst & Young LLP, and proudly served as a United States Navy Officer in the elite Naval Reactors Program.

Mr. Holley is a licensed Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor and holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University, a Master of Science in Transportation Management from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, a Master of Arts in International Finance from George Mason University, with a concentration in currency and commodity hedging strategies, and Diploma, International Arbitration from the University of Basel.
